we desire to walk with you and love you where you are. i can attest that for so long i was angry and closed off to the world for help. i just felt like no one got me. i felt that i was alone. that is why it’s so important for families to have a place where they know they are not alone.
St. Teresa of Calcutta said once, “Find your own Calcutta. Find the sick, the suffering, and the lonely, right where you are.”

February 2019 Monthly Meeting
Sunday we met at Hospice of Acadiana and was presented a beautiful talk by Chanda and Dion Alleman on Blessed are those who mourn.
The video is around 40 minutes long, but the exquisite words that Chanda meditated on and put heart to paper sharing her pain and suffering captivated me through so many moments of her talk.
She related the Beatitude laid out by Christ to her story and as I listened to her words, it was evident that Christ was speaking so many times.
Take the time to listen to her testimony. Her courage and strength has truly inspired me to be a better person, and to lean on Christ more.
Thank you Chanda and Dion for courageously offering support to the ministry and providing hope to our Red Bird families.
