Become a Cardinal Council Support Member

At Red Bird Ministries, our mission to accompany grieving families can only thrive when the foundation of our ministry is strong. While many donors and grants focus on programs, few support the vital operational needs that allow our mission to flourish.

That’s why we are forming the Cardinal Council—a community of individuals, families, and foundations committed to sustaining the heart of Red Bird Ministries. By pledging annual support for our core operations, Cardinal Council members ensure stability and give our team the freedom to focus fully on serving grieving families.

Your commitment strengthens the mission itself—helping Red Bird Ministries grow, endure, and continue bringing Christ’s comfort to those who suffer profound loss.

This is why Red Bird Ministries steps in!

  • +

There is a complex interplay of psychological, emotional, relational, and spiritual dimensions of grief after the loss of a child. The loss of a child may be the worst trauma a human being can experience.

  • +

The process of recovery and healing plays out over many years. The trauma
is often more intense, the memories and hopes harder to let go of and with it a range of different and ongoing challenges for the individual and the family.

  • +

Red Bird Ministries is the only Catholic resource that adequately addresses the psychological, emotional, communal,
and spiritual needs of a person or family who have experienced child loss.

If you’re a philanthropist considering a major gift, we invite you to schedule a call with us. We’re excited to share our strategic growth vision and answer any questions you may have.

Since its inception, our compassionate supporters and benefactors have been our driving force. Now, Red Bird Ministries is embarking on a national outreach campaign. To achieve this, we need additional funding to propel our grief support program development, production, and implementation.
