How to get involved?
Become an advocate and get involved.
Help us bring Red Bird to your community. At RBM, our hope is to offer the Catholic Church programming and leader training to effectively integrate grief ministry into their community. Our programs foster both parish connection and nurture authentic accompaniment for bereaved families.
Ways to advocate for Red Bird and other families of loss.
Order tri-fold brochures for your parish here.
Encourage your parish to place the brochures around the parish: in the confessional, in his desk office, in the cemetery office , and in the back of church.
List your name as an advocate in your parish bulletin for families to reach out when a loss occurs.
Bring RBM to your area by hosting a grieving couples workshop and/or grief support group bible study.
“But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth. He will not speak on his own, but he will speak what he hears, and will declare to you the things that are coming. He will glorify me..”
Been praying about volunteering in one of our chapters?
If you feel a gentle nudge to walk with families after loss, we invite you first to pray. Red Bird Ministries is built on discernment—asking the Holy Spirit where your gifts are needed and how your heart is being called to serve.
You do not have to be a family of loss to volunteer. Some are called to companion grieving parents or siblings.
Others serve quietly and faithfully behind the scenes—preparing meals, helping with childcare, offering hospitality at gatherings, writing notes, organizing supplies, or assisting with events and logistics.
And if, in time, you feel ready to put your grief into action, you may find yourself called into acts of hospitality—welcoming families, preparing meals, offering practical support, or serving in simple, tangible ways that bring comfort to others.

Every role matters. Every “yes” makes room for healing.
If you are willing to show up with compassion, humility, and love, there is a place for you here. Pray with us. Discern with us. And if you feel called, we would be honored to serve alongside you.

Become a Contributor
Our ministry team is seeking new contributors. We support our contributors + partners by cross-promoting their efforts that align with our Faith.
New Contributor Inquiry questions:
Are you a woman/man of faith with a heart open to share how God met you in the trenches of your grief and invited you to restoration?
Do you desire to be the hands and feet of Christ ready to serve with a mind that speaks the Truth?
Do you desire to contribute and develop ways to bring healing and restoration to the world by letting your light penetrate the darkness of grief?
Do you desire to be apart of the change of how the world views grief support and go after the one lost sheep?
Do you believe that grief is a missing touchpoint of evangelization in the Church and an invitation back into community and full communion with God?
If you answered yes to all of these questions, we want to hear from you!
Help us with our national outreach by bringing
Red Bird Ministries to your community/parish.
