Birth & Bereavement Doula
Finding meaningful support for your baby’s birth and death can help you make the most of the time you have with your baby.
A birth and bereavement doula or a “loss doula” is a doula who walks with, supports, and helps families who are experiencing the loss of their baby, whether that loss is through miscarriage, stillbirth, or a diagnosis that means the baby may not live long after being delivered. These women are trained specifically in addressing and caring for mothers, babies, and families during the painful process of learning your baby’s life may be brief, the duration of the pregnancy, and the delivery of a stillborn baby or a baby who may not live long after birth.
