Step 1: Complete the Leader Application Form

Step 2: Meet with Our Director of Leader Formation
Once your application is reviewed, you will be invited to schedule a one-on-one Zoom call with Anna Gowasack, our Director of Leader Formation. This is an opportunity to learn more about the ministry, and to discern more deeply how the Lord may be calling you to service.

Step 3: Receive Your Application Decision
We value the gifts of every leader applicant. If your unique gifts and calling align with Red Bird’s mission and methodology, you will receive a confirmation email. If we feel your gifts would be best suited elsewhere, we will follow-up with alternative options for ministry involvement.

Step 4: Complete Leader Training
Once you are welcomed as a Red Bird Leader you will be invited to complete your leader training. Our carefully curated training is completely online and self-paced. A single leader training costs $299 per individual license (spouses may share a license). Diocese or large parishes wishing to train multiple leaders should contact us to inquire about bulk discounts.

Finding the Passion of Christ in Our Story Grief Group
Finding The Passion Of Christ In Our Story grief group program consists of ten sessions. Each session takes approximately one hour to one hour and 20 minutes to facilitate. The group study may occur weekly, monthly, or as a three-day retreat. It is designed for in-person support but may be adapted as a virtual support group. Finding the Passion of Christ in Our Story has been reviewed by the Diocese of Lafayette, LA and holds it’s imprimatur.

The bundle includes everything you need as a leader to facilitate a 10-week grief group in your parish. PowerPoint also includes audio reflections. Leader must take leaders course prior to purchase.

Loving Through Loss Couples Workshop
Loving Through Loss couples 1 day workshop helps couples understand how the trauma of child loss affects the family dynamic, while teaching them how to love each other through the complexity of child loss. The workshop facilitates a safe space where couples can share their answers to vital questions that are pivotal in moving towards healing.
Please note that leaders who plan to host a couple’s workshop will also need to take the Companion Couple’s Course to prepare them to enter into the unique space of grief within marriage.

The Mass of Remembrance digital resource pack includes everything you need to make the Remembrance Mass special for the grieving families you serve. It includes a branded editable template flyer, social card, sign-in sheet (for children’s names to be read), frequently asked question guide, and liturgy suggestion sheet.
The Community Builder provides leaders with an official chapter page on the Red Bird Ministries website, along with a dedicated group in our branded app. This enables families to find support opportunities in person within your diocese. The app offers an easy way for families in the same area to connect and build a supportive community.

Once you purchase access to your training course, you will gain entry to your leader’s portal. Inside the portal, you will find your course bundles available to purchase.

The only Red Bird Programs that can be used without going through the leader application process are: Restoring Love, Hiding in the Upper Room, The Grief of Dads, and Beloved, not Broken Lenten Journal. These programs are available for personal use (digital materials not included).

Starter bundles are only required to purchase once to gain access to your user account. Inside your user account you will gain access to the program’s PowerPoint presentation, video testimony library (workshop only), editable flyers, and graphic templates.
