Red Bird Over Texas was inspired to bring comfort and hope to parents who lost their children and to all who were grief stricken by the tragic Camp Mystic floods.
Together, with the generous hearts of local businesses in Louisiana and beloved community members, we are sowing seeds of hope—gathering support to create a sacred retreat through Red Bird Ministries, where grieving parents may come, rest, and begin the tender journey through grief.
By standing together as businesses, neighbors, and friends, we remind these parents that they are not alone. Every act of generosity helps turn heartbreak into healing.

Local businesses host Giveback Days — whether it’s a favorite café, a family-owned shop, or the neighborhood spot where everybody knows your name, they set aside a day to give back by donating a percentage of sales or a set amount.
You shop, dine, or join in and our local community rallies! — grab a plate, pick up a gift, or stop by to show your support. Every purchase becomes a way to lift up families in need.
All funds go directly to families in Texas — covering the essentials for the Red Bird healing retreat. Every dollar stays in the community, carrying love, hope, and the power to transform heartbreak into healing.
